Soccer Star Aaron Ramsey Ups Bounty for Lost Canine in Mexican Territory to $Twenty Thousand Dollars
Welsh athlete Ramsey has increased the reward for leads regarding the missing pet named Halo to fifteen thousand pounds.
The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who now is with the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, revealed that the beagle was spotted in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato area.
The beagle, who went missing on 9 October, was had on a tracking device, and the footballer published a exact coordinates of the spot she vanished from.
"Any updates about our Halo please get in touch with us. Significant incentive for finding her. We are all hoping she is safe and will return to our side soon," Ramsey shared on Instagram.
Initial Offer and Emotional Appeals
Ramsey initially revealed that his dog had vanished two weeks ago and has subsequently posted numerous photos of the cherished canine on Instagram.
A $$10k incentive was initially provided, but with lack of updates on the dog's location after a week, Ramsey and his loved ones doubled the reward.
"We just want our pet returned," he expressed in another request on social media after the 10-year-old pet disappeared.
A recent image share is a grayscale photo of the beagle snoozing, its head lying in the curve of Ramsey's elbow, with the message: "How I wish to hold you one last time Halo."
Family's Worries and Background
The footballer has also posted a statement from his wife Colleen on online channels saying they have a few "serious concerns" surrounding the incident and fear the household "may never obtain explanations".
"To this day we haven't found Halo. I fear we will ever," his wife's update read.
The Welsh captain joined Mexican premier team Pumas UNAM earlier this year and made his first appearance in Liga MX in August.
