A widespread internet disruption has affected many websites and apps globally, as users experiencing issues connecting to the web after problems at Amazon’s cloud computing platform.

The disrupted platforms encompass Snapchat, the gaming platform Roblox, the messaging service Signal, and the language learning app Duolingo, along with a host of Amazon-owned services like its key e-commerce site and the Ring doorbell device manufacturer.

Throughout Britain, Lloyds bank was affected in addition to its affiliates the bank Halifax and Bank of Scotland, and also reports of difficulties reaching the the tax authority website on Monday morning.
