Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
