Helicopter Spirals Wildly into Palm Groves at Frequented California Beach
A helicopter flying above a popular coastal shoreline abruptly started spinning uncontrollably, finally losing altitude and smashing into a line of palm trees as onlookers watched.
Videos uploaded on the internet depict the aircraft commencing to spiral over Huntington Beach then plunging near the border of the shore, where it ends up lodged amidst palm groves and a set of stairs near the shoreline route.
First Aid Information
Local firefighters reported five individuals were transported to a medical facility involving a pair who were in the aircraft and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the accident on Saturday.
Three persons on the pavement were hurt. Information on their condition were not yet released.
The reason for the accident was still under investigation.
